Yeah, a nod, maybe play the occasional gig, or is that "industry bullshit" too?warphead wrote:Mexicola wrote:
My only hope is that whenever they decide to call it a day, they let us know. Otherwise this site could turn into a digital version of one of those mid-Pacific islands after the 2nd World War, with Japanese soldiers not believing the war had ended decades later
Hahah!!! Fantastic Mexicola. You just hit the nail on the head my good man.
I would also disagree with this attitude of thinking 'it's okay to ignore your fan base, they don't owe us anything'. Mmmm I would like to think if you were my fanbase and spent well earned money on me I would at least give you a scrap of something. Not waving my cock about in Hello! but at least give you a nod. But hey!! That's just me!
Have some of you ever thought that BoC probably hate this website? And that we are just a complete pain in the ass? LoL

it's my understanding that they don't really like gigging.MrMessiah wrote:Yeah, a nod, maybe play the occasional gig, or is that "industry bullshit" too?warphead wrote:Mexicola wrote:

I remembered it being a bit more positive but they still say they would want to in the future. They talk about it in the 9th paragraph down I think.

I would never get my hopes up but it would be cool if they did a few gigs.
Small intimate venues or like a few years ago some bands (Pulp, Pj Harvey) did some gigs in UK forests in national parks. That could work and would suit the BOC asthetic.
I would hate BoC to do festivals, as you get a lot of fucking idiots in the crowd, just pissed up and not always appreciating what BoC are about. It wouldn't work. And would probably ruin what should be a magical experience.
I guess they are lucky and we are unlucky that they don't need to tour to keep their heads above water. This is how 99% of bands survive nowadays.

Here are the old links to the Pulp gigs,

It seemed they did a Forest Tour. How cool is that?
It would be mind-blowing if BoC did the same sort of thing.

He has stated time and time again, that yes, there is a new album coming out and it has been ready for sometime, the release has been put on hold do to logistics and family matters.Milky wrote:If mdg could answer any question, I'd like it to be whether the album that was supposed to come out in 2010 was the BoC+Coil collaboration, or new material.
So don't hold your breath. I would suggest a new album won't drop till next year if that. That's just my opinion. I would love to be proved wrong of course!

Woah there Quicksilver!! Hold your horses!!!Seeya_Later wrote:Hey BoC! I'm sure what you have so far is perfect! I'd take an album now over a needlessly fine-tuned album later.
For me, I'd rather hear the finished article. If they're never satisfied enough to release anything again, then I don't want a watered down version thanks all the same. Just, like, my opinion (man).
oh man, you ruined it. they were this close to uploead it to mediafire.Mexicola wrote:Woah there Quicksilver!! Hold your horses!!!Seeya_Later wrote:Hey BoC! I'm sure what you have so far is perfect! I'd take an album now over a needlessly fine-tuned album later.![]()
