But lol @ your post!
Would you care to concisely explain your rationale in a post?

EDIT: that is what I found from 1 minute of youtubing. Apparently this thing should have passed or hit us around 9/1 ? So if anything it has come and gone? moot.
EDIT AGAIN:
Found this website - it seems they have the correct info.
http://spaceobs.org/en/tag/comet-elenin/
According to the astronomer who found the thing and has been watching it's progress every day there will be no catastrophe and it will pass by us.

Why are you so sure? I'm pretty disappointed with what they've released so far. Game looks casualized, art design looks worse, spellmaking and spears are gone, well, what next?747Music wrote:I'm pretty damn confident that Skyrim WILL NOT suck. I'm gunning for GOTY contender for sure. All the videos out for Skyrim gameplay look amazing, really amazing.
I've played the prequels - did not like either of them, then again I am a WoW Fan. Also have been addicted to spiral knights recently.pointlessdude wrote:Why are you so sure? EDIT and to keep this with speculation - my next theroy is that they will release an album before diablo 3 is released.
You said "it might". But my appologies, I'm just really excited for it. A little too excited i think. lolRodheh wrote:747Music wrote:I'm pretty damn confident that Skyrim WILL NOT suck. I'm gunning for GOTY contender for sure. All the videos out for Skyrim gameplay look amazing, really amazing.
Never said it would man, just saying I wouldn't go gung ho on it.
I did. Not negative context though.747Music wrote:You said "it might". But my appologies, I'm just really excited for it. Okay...now...wait for fog machine.
Sorry to be anal, but pet hate right here. A film/book/game that comes before another film/book/game in a series isn't a prequel unless it was made after, but set before. So Morrowind/Oblivion etc aren't prequels to Skyrim.d3v3l wrote:I've played the prequels - did not like either of them, then again I am a WoW Fan. See also: sequel, prequel, interquel etc etc.
What are they then?MrMessiah wrote:Sorry to be anal, but pet hate right here. A sequel is later work thats set after an existing work, so its in the correct chronological order. A prequel is a later work thats set earlier than an existing work. (Think any "origin stories") An interquel is a later work thats set between two existing works. (Metroid Prime was produced later than Metroid I and II but was set between them). A midquel is a later work that's set during the events of an earlier work. Halo 3 ODST is a midquel, taking place during the time frame of Halo 2. If a midquel expands to cover the SAME time time frame as an earlier work rather than just a slice of it, then it's a parallel.
If you're talking about an existing work that was produced before, and set before a current work, then its not a prequel, it's more correctly called a predecessor if you want to use a word for it, though you'd probably just say "I played the earlier games in the series".

Thank you for the correction in the terminology, yet I am glad you did not correct me in the context, ha.MrMessiah wrote:Sorry to be anal, but pet hate right here. How bold of you. I still have confidence in those statements. To me it's only a matter of time.Bryan wrote:Bolded that for youFredd-E wrote:they do: http://bocpages.org/wiki/Statements_fro ... ]July_2009[/b]dp wrote: they do?
