We really do need more MHTRTC/pre-Hi Scores stuff, though.

For sure. I mean, not just "some", considering we've heard Old Tunes and that's just because of the internet.

Think about before the internet's sharing abilities were substantial. I'm almost absolutely positive that there were probably duplicates made by owners of the various tapes, given/loaned to other people for listening and possibly reviewing. Hell, there's probably like 14 of them still laying around in a drawer in somebody's closet somewhere in Edinburgh.
considering how we got old tunes (that betrayed girlfriend story) and the fact that random tape was given to chris cunningham if i remember correctly and that's why it leaked - i really doubt these releases are really that much 'out there'. knwoing boc, they probably borrowed a tank from aphex twin and used it to force people to give back all the tapes JUST IN CASE.
I doubt that man. How would they get back all the tapes? Some of them are bound to be lost.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

all I hear is that fucking sixtyniner flute and an electric piano or something.
I am pretty sure it is a loop from sixtyniner with an extra flute line or two. Still a great little tune. The Rhodes sounding electric piano sounds great. If you play both sixtyniner and the telecom commercial at the same time, the first flute line matches.

I think this was discussed in other posts....the song was supposedly called "Flute Frum Thing". Pretty rad song, I think when I downloaded Live @ ATP they have the song "A is to b as b is to c" labelled incorrectly as it sounds EXACTLY like Flute Frum Thing.....I'm guessing they transformed it from that Sixtyniner interlude?

What if it was Warp that was holding something up their sleeves, after all with the economy being what it is perhaps they're scattering their big releases to maximize incomes and revenues?

Yeah I know, this is squarely in the tin foil hat category but ;)

Magrathea, that would actually just be smart business planning on warps part imo. It's not being paranoid to say that economies, and the companies that comprise them, are struggling. You may be closer than you think. I know that no one would buy music over food if it came to that choice, and I think warp is aware of that too.
