I was listening to the band YES the other day, and I was so surprised how much this track reminded me of Boards Of Canada.

So much like it belongs on The Campfire Headphase.

He also has a huge fanbase in Japan if I recall correctly.

Someone just told me yesterday that the lead singer of yes didnt write the lyrics to try to make sense or anything. Pretty much just threw words together and it worked.

That's fantastic. Never listened to them before.

Reminds me of

which, obviously, sounds like MBV, who I love.

Yes, finally you uncovered where I picked up that stupid riff it has been buried from the 80's in the back of My mind and I couldn't figure out where I picked it up, everything including the chorus effect for the guitar... :)

Nothing wrong with that at all. Might have to spin some Yes here too.

Great pick-up ArbitersGround.

I've really gotten into Brainfeeder and the beautiful things that collective has been putting out the past couple of years, and it's really kept my mind off of BoC.

Speaking of Brainfeeder, krs, have you listened to Shlohmo's new album? If so, what did you think of it?

I had a dream last night:
I'm being pushed on a swing by someone and the ground is getting further and further away...the whole time "Hey Saturday Sun" plays quietly in the background and it's the only sound I hear.

Do you think it means anything?

Perhaps Googling "Richard C. Hoagland" and finding him on facebook might fuck your head further?

Some kind of death anxiety?

was the ground falling (were you rising) or did it kind of disconnect into a plane and spiraling off into the distance?

can you remember what was the ground? (grass, sand)?
