Poppy Seed Through Red Eye
I think I'm done with this..
Re-creation & Remix
Poppy Seed Through Red Eye
Korg MS2000 for synths. An acoustic kit for drums (filtered to pieces).
Kind of noisy drums, but.. that's me.
Enjoy!

Yeah thats a fun little track. I think more of us should try this "game" out as well. Although I am a mediocre sequencer I'll try too! Oh god forgive me for the destruction of a poor harmless boc track. Melissa juice is kind of calling my name. One thing I'd recommend for new renditions is actually making it sound different from boc...since we are different people. What's the fun in doing these tracks if we give them the lo-fi dirt and muddy down tempo drums when they have already mastered such a thing. I would be interesting to hear different styles of beats in a boards of canada song eh? Like some fucked up glitch beat / mechanical autechre-ish stuff or maybe even some rugged drill and bass. Although maybe a lot of that wouldn't fit since boards of canada songs are so ambient and meloncholy...who knows, we'll see.

You should do more of this, it sounded very professional to me.
The second one with the simple breakbeat is ace too!!
Is it possible to get them in lossless format?

nice tune cupz, though i have to say, i'm not really too fond of the phased sawtooth sound you have going throughout. the drums sound nice, but kick in quite unexpectadly which sort of makes them sound out of place. but all in all good work.Cupz wrote:http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?c ... yseeds.mp3

Thanks again all. I've been out of the composition scene for a bit so trying to get my chops again. Easier to get back in when you recreate something I do believe. That and I really wanted to do something with my new MS2000!

A couple years old.. piano-ish track. Um, darker than Poppy Seed.
Sure (?) But what is lossless format?Aesthetics wrote:You should do more of this, it sounded very professional to me.

Hesitant to put up my own stuff.. as I've been on hiatus for a while. However, here's something from the past which will hopefully make it on my own "Old Tunes" some day. Bad mix, heavily compressed, etc..really like this man, more please. some of your own work preferably.

Next up is "Buckie High". Hooray!I choose...Davie Addison.
Yay, I love Buckie High. It + You will equal awesomeness to some degree. I liked that track, beautiful composition you have there. Especially liked the dirty beats.wwbjd wrote:Thanks again all.
