Mini-Mexicola arrives!!! Born 28 May 2012

It is with immense pleasure, pride and a sizable chunk of blind panic as disposable income kisses us goodbye, that Mr and Mrs Mexicola announce that we will be welcoming our first child into the World sometime around 11th June.

12 week scan went well today (boring new Dad-to-be photo to follow later) and judging by the amount of jumping about it was doing Newcastle United might just have a new Centre Forward.

You can all rest assured that those BOC rumours are clearly true and I predict a series of UK based gigs at exactly the same time that I'm having sleepless nights and changing nappies. Not that I'll mind one jot. Can't tell you how excited I am

So, what chances my Kid (for Today) arrives June 9th?

Excellent news mate! Huge congratulations to you both.

As a recent Dad myself I can second Aesthetic's comments - fatherhood is incredible. You're terrified now, but trust me it will seem like the most natural thing to look after junior. Instincts are amazing things.

One word of advice though - start banking your sleep now. Man alive, I'm tired!

Just one thing though, surely you want your son playing for a more respectable club than the magpies
