cold autumn day, leaves are changing, you're blasting some Yes, you finally manage to climb to the top of the great hill before you; virtually a mountain compared to your small stature.

right as you reach the apex, that beat drops. the beautiful kind of "drops". like the second half of dayvan cowboy beginning right as you've pushed yourself to the limit.

wtf. What happened :P
Well it's a long story (of course), but suffice to say I finally got a new job after almost a year of searching due to a drawn out wrist surgery last year. I'm doing basic IT work for a sister franchise of an oil company that owns properties around the country. I work mostly at the local property at home, but apparently when we need to go elsewhere for a day job, they just throw us on their 6-man jet.

I just said I "wasn't sure if proud" because it's an oil company, and that doesn't exactly groove with my ethics, but I'm hurting for cash pretty bad. </whore>

I thought it was interesting though--the ceo introduced himself by his first name, and a sincere handshake, as he personally slipped felt booties over our shoes when we boarded, so that we wouldn't scuff the carpet I guess. Nice guy--who would've thought?

Last night, man. Learned so much of what tripping must be like; I smoked until I was like, really out of it high, then smoked more. @__@

Pretty OEV's like patterns and noise, and light was bending, not to mention the intensely beautiful and vivid mindtrips... so much fun. Not a feeling I can addict myself to, which I'm happy for-- something I respect instead :D

Having a lay in. So good.

Oh and being on time with a deadline you need to meet. Satisfying!

You know what's great? I mean truly fucking great? Staying the fuck true to yourself. My god there have been hundreds of times where I could have just gone with what everybody wants to do, because that's 'where it's at'. Well I'm not concerned with there it's at. People have degrees to do here at uni! Sure I've gone out once in a while but my god I'm glad I spent student loan on a decent set of speakers and some green and just chill the fuck out even if it sacrifices my 'social stance'. My goodness.

Respect to that saurus. I totally understand where you're coming from, spending money on worthwhile things, enjoying your time your way. Don't compromise your morals to please other people or to fit in.

Yeah, it's harder to do than I'd like to think but I'm getting better :)

On another note who here likes putting a lot of effort into a BIG ASS MEAL with dessert and a nice drink as well with tea afterward? Such a great satisfied feeling! This is definitely shaping up to be my favourite thread
