Drunk on rum looking at the Xmas tree lights reflecting off my Geogaddi poster. My wife shot a rifle today it was her first time shooting a gun and she hit every target right from the start haha she's a natural I guess. Saw my Dad who I haven't seen in years and it was nice. Saw my Grandmother who is 90 years old today and she is sharp as a tac. Still running around causing trouble haha. Family is a good thing to have in this world, friends too. Oh and BoC. I have a feeling we will be getting some new material real soon from them.

uughh... i'm drinkin a little... not a ton, but i drank all the rum there was. bah. i try really really hard not to be cynical these days but sometimes i get stuck that way and i always wind up drinking.

Okay. So. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. I've been meaning to get drunk and listen to music. I've been meaning to do this for so long that I can't even tell you. Mostly, I wanted to listen to Boards of Canada..because..you know, they're insane.

HOWEVERRRR..

I've been completely entranced by the new Fiona Apple album. Oh my God, it's so stark and sparse that I can't even explain it to you when I listen to it sober. However..DRUNK!?!? DRUNK..WOW. All of the reverb..all of the stereo imaging..it all pops, it pops out and everything makes sense. This is absolutely amazing. All music. All of it. Drunk. It's amazing.

This. is. my. first. experience. listening. to. music. drunk. the feelings I am feeling..it's hard...i can't tell you or explain. they're just there..they're intense..they're freeing, It;s great.

I can't. Stop. Experiencing.
