I think everyone of us has a bunch of tracks that made or makes tear up ourselves even still

Amorphous Androgynous - Divinity <-- this one actually has been getting more personally meaningful and powerful to me than it was before, as of late

Loess-Selkuth is also very cry-friendly, mostly because it's so god damn beautiful.

I'm usually moved more by harmonics than lyrical content, though the voice can be used to great effect in achieving this. I'm not talking boo hoo shit here, but musical pieces that are so moving that it causes physiological changes in you, one of which is your eyes welling up with tears.

sometimes it's hard to differentiate between songs that make me feel emotion and tingle my spine and songs that have actually made me cry. I think to make me cry is even more powerful then just feeling tingles. sometimes it's just the right environment and mindset that will make a certain song make me cry when it hasn't before. so therefore, these are songs that I remember making me cry at some point or another

It is, and probably will be for at the least a long, long time, my favorite ambient composition ever. Boards, Aphex Twin, TTA, even Eno and all that...as elaborate as they get they have never come close enough for me.

If any song gets me closest to crying when I hear it, it's that one.

Barber - 'Adagio For Strings' (but not the shite William Orbit version, although that does make me cry with how bloody awful it is)

Oh and I'm adding 'He Loved to See The World Through His Camera' by Sleepingdog too. Lump in the throat every time.

I should probably add 'Hoppipola' by Sigur Ros too, given that my wife walked down the aisle to it.

Pretty much the entirety of "the Meaning of Eight" and "Feel Good Ghosts", by Cloud Cult, to the point where I've stopped listening to Cloud Cult where I can't/shouldn't be crying - coworkers asking me if i'm alright gets old real quick.
Also, the closing track on the new Cloud Cult album. Every time.
