Ideas for a music video to Echus

"Echus" is definitely my favorite track from the ATP set, and quite possibly my favorite song of all time. It's so utterly disarming and relaxing. It makes me cry sometimes.

RESOLUTION: Once I get my iMac, I'm going to make a really good music video to this. I promise you all that I will do this - I want to make a homage to this amazing track.

Now, the question is: What do I do for a video? Should I go the "traditional BoC route" and compile it from old film footage of happy children? Should I shoot it myself around town, or in nature somewhere, or on a walk in the park, or under a bridge? Should I...?

Well, BoC music without screaming early BoC fans sounds like a great idea for a music video. But because it is live, i really don't think it will work well, no matter how hard it is to ignore the chatter, it is still there. the people

try and filter out their chatter.

I actually think the chatter adds to the track's sense of subdued ambiance.

Someone, somewhere has the audio from the mixing desk ie. no crowd noise. It was used in the ATP movie that Warp released a while back. Don't recall now whether there were other noises playing during the movie, but might be worth looking into if you want a 'clean' recording.

my first time writing and thought it would be an idea to your question. as you said - its easy to use echus as something say with grainy footage / sun rising / children playing... so i think taking ecstasy will help.

those ten pound ones are a good start. come up with the idea when your fucked. out of your tits. let the esctasy roll your eyes as you inhale the three skinner smoked. the idea will come then. or try an isolation booth. or get up at 4 am watching the sun rise after you have fasted for a day or two. what you hear in music, art that takes you to places can also come to yourself.
