i get high and listen to old tunes vol2 and a few old tunes and i say..."why the hell was this never released entirely". Presuming its authentic from reading the pages. The tracks are amazing and much diff than released boards tracks, (ftmp). i just wish i could have heard these songs or paid royalties if this music was unintended for our ears, but why hold back the beauty, its been created, let it thrive. Obtaining an old tunes vol 2 vinyl would be the coolest thing. i would get goosebumps as soon as i heard we've started up. ..
ps. im high right now..lol

Usually now I've been getting extremely fucking emotional when I listen to random 35 track and both old tunes as well. Reminds me of my childhood when things were simpler and innocent and shit. These all make me cry

I am also a sober Boards of Canada fan.Cupz wrote:tricky double negative there but...pianoforte wrote:Am I, like, the only Boards fan that doesn't a. Get high or b. Not feel the emotions in the tracks without drugs?
No.
I had a friend who used to make fun of BoC b/c he thought it was stoner music. He may have been right.
I mean I listen to Boards a lot. And I don't need "drugs" to feel emotion if that's what you're implying, that we're all just lazy stoners on here. Yeah, I smoke a plant pretty often to relax and enjoy life, and most of the time I'm listening to Boards of Canada. Maybe you should try opening up and enjoy life too.pianoforte wrote:Am I, like, the only Boards fan that doesn't a. Get high or b. Not feel the emotions in the tracks without drugs?

I don't smoke anymore, well, very rarely. So I think it's just personal choce, I have friends who smoke and listen to their music. Personal preference really. Psychedelics are fun with music, though im not sure if BoC is suitable as it gets a bit dark in some BoC tracks.
