Dudes, it's not racist. I go to public high school in Oakland for god's sake. I'm around those types of black people 6 hours of the damn day, if you were the quiet guy in my class you'd be agreeing with me.

I don't think it's so much about taking a joke (which you weren't really delivering) as it's more the fact that it's now 2012, and it's time for you to get over it or move. Annoying pricks are annoying pricks, not "those type of black people". I'm pretty sure any correlations between the color of one's skin and particular behaviors have been considered scientifically non-existent well over half a century ago, and long before that for most people with common sense. Speaking of "waste of evolution", where does "evolving" your tolerance and cooperation as a human being fit in? I'm pretty surprised comments like these haven't gotten you in a lot of trouble in Oakland. I believe most people here have the maturity to see past the surface.

while i understand that, if given a society of understanding and intelligent people, racial jokes and things like it could have their place in the comedic world.. maybe..

there's no sense in making rather scathing jokes (even if only a little scathing) about someone or a group of people that are born with the quality in question; if they're born with it and can't (easily) help it, why poke fun? no need to, and it's not something they can help.

my two cents.
