What do you know?

Just seems to be a common observance. How many people you know keep working in this field for a very long time?
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Sequencing and synthesizers I'm pretty sure qualifies as electronic music. Even though you add flutes and guitars to the mix it doesn't negate that. It's never one or the other. Why you decided to take one, tiny part of my post and latch onto that when it wasn't even the point of the post I have no idea.

And thanks. Totally need more people who seem to think they know things about me personally making rash assumptions. What flavor is this, age prejudice or more "rodeh you're an idiot"?

Care to elaborate on that? Quotes? Screencaps? Interjecting points? I'd like to know what it is I'm doing that gives people this reaction but this is too little information for that.

Since when has BoC not releasing an album as of recently started inconveniencing YOU on a day to day level to the extent where you feel compelled to come on here and whine about it? Do you think that'll make Mike and Marcus release it any faster? They're just people, that's it. They're not some sort of demigods and they're not celebrities like Richard James. They're just people who are trying to live their life. Guess what, there's a pretty good chance that for most people, when you reach age 40 making a ton of electronic music isn't your top priority anymore. Not everybody is fucking Trent Reznor, or Gary Numan, or Maynard Keenan. Some people want to relax.

Seems like you're getting your knickers in a twist too lol.

When has an artist ever had the obligation to let people know what they are doing? They are people, they like privacy and working on their own terms/time frames. Respect them and they will respect you.
People need to grow up and understand that artists on the whole make work for their own creative satisfaction, they aren't working to please you. Besides that, publicity wise it's actually more the labels job to indicate current goings on and developments on their signed roll call. Be happy with what you have, demanding information is childish and crass.
Sagan: In order to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.

Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

If a new album comes this year or next year or next next year I'll be the one of the first motherfuckers to buy it. With that being said, I'm through with waiting and being patient and caring. BoC don't care about us so why should we care about them?
this is my stance, word for word.

Count me in on this. The total lack of communication by the band with their fans WHATSOEVER, MySpace "updates" and occasional cryptic messages by MDG excluded, border on the ridiculous. They don't owe me anything, but a simple "hello, we're still alive" shouldn't be asking too much.

Meh, I'm over it. Carry on.
