IMAGES
I absolutely LOOOVE they way the pentagon impacts me as some sort of titan.

BUT...

I think the picture should be something more...meaningful. Don't get me wrong, I love the soul you put in your photography, but I feel a sunset with trees is a little to broad for a compilation that is driven/inspired by certain themes. Maybe expand a little more on that OR get that pentagram integrated more with the scenery somehow, so it becomes the driving force of the scenery?

Also I think the noise outer glow for the pentagram should look less like Photoshop wants it to look like.

Typography is very well executed but feels a little safe. You used a similar layout for the back-cover before.

I couldn't have done it better though, so don't think I mean anything like that
:P I really like it. Just some pointers on what I would want from this compilation I guess.
I don't like BIG fonts all that much, but yeah. Yeah I am using the same layout for the tracks and just using different images that just the way I like it. Anyways I will continue to make some changes thanks for the advice man! Seriously!

As far as the picture being more meaningful? To me that picture is very meaningful to me. I took that with my Wife about 6 years ago in my parents backyard. We just got done swimming and the sun was going down and we sat there watching this beautiful sun set. Also, when I look at it, it looks like the last sunset you'll ever see. Just imagine not ever seeing the sun again, if it did not come back and this was one of the last time you ever saw it. I don't know then again maybe that's too personal of a description for this comp. I still like the design though.

Hi, I like subset's contribution, looks very proffesional. The ring in the center gives it kind of a vinyl LP feel. Would look great in print.

Pentagon with Orange Sun is hella cool, Pentagons are new hexagons. You got my vote.

Polar Sky! Number 3!!!! YOU HAVE A WINNER! It's beautiful!

However, you should make the back panel more reflective of the front. Get some of that pinkish sun color in there!

These look great. Also, definitely think the Pentagon is the best idea for imagery on the artwork.

Any word on a general timeline we can expect an art voting thread/tracklist announcement, etc?

The release will most likely be around April/May. I really need this time to figure out what the best flow will be.

I'm still at the beginning stage. So far I don't even have one decent pair of tracks mixed into each other so I have a looooooong way to go.

What's more important now is to have someone who can build a site. The artwork is coming along nice though.

It certainly isn't easy. There are more than 3 hours of tracks to choose from. First I have to learn the tracks by listening them through and through. Then the matching part starts where I have to form couples and try to combine them later on.
I'm also striving for a mix which doesn't have much temposhifting and songs that haven't been cut-up too much. Unfortunately I only have a couple of hours in a week to work on it and I have to be in the right mood as well.

With the experience of the past volumes I know this can be very timeconsuming.. so why not setting the release date to an achievable date, rather than keeping hopes up for an early release?

With each volume there are always new artists who don't know how the process goes. I guess I have to make an OoT faq one day ;)

So for site design, you'd want more than just a typical bandcamp account, yeah?

What's the problem? You only submitted a track and don't take any participation in this community whatsoever, yet you question the whole concept. This mixed compilation series is called One on Twoism for a reason, and this is how it developed. There is no hurry to finish this.

If one of the designers can come up with a site design (with all details figured out), I don't mind turning it in a website. A photoshop file or even a high quality jpg/png as a source works for me, as long as I only have to cut it up...

Isn't this what everyone does already? It would be nice as a back-up plan as it is very easy to put up a bandcamp page and it looks decent right away. But let's try to get on with this unique microsite tradition.

Why don't you guys team up? Once the artwork is chosen I guess you guys can work something out, right?
