I've got massive amounts of web space if you want to just host them somewhere for a while.

Mash-ups are ok to post but some remixes are copyrighted... keep that in mind please.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Now I only pray I can download them before they die! LOL If I can get them all, I'll host them on a server instead of using rapidshare, which I dislike due to the download restrictions. But I digress, I appreciate this alot 652!

You cant really call the 'Happy Cycling' used on Nick Warren's Global Underground as Nick Warren's remix. It isnt. Its the original track thats used in the compilation.

Out of curiosity, how many tracks in the list are misinterpreted as remixes when infact they might just be rips or tracks taken out of compilations?

I also think this is the case with the Kid Loco 'Happy Cycling'.

Dont shut down the links, all I need is #4 and the mashups, as soon as I get them, you can shut them down and I'll host them all on my server. And I wouldnt be bitching about minor details, be thankful this guy took the time to share his collection instead of hording it.

Some of these are REALLY good.

WOW, Ive yet to get #4, but Ive been listening to these all day on my ipod and I must say there are some absolutely brilliant and gorgeous interpretations here. Theres a few where the people kinda missed the boat and ruined a perfectly good song, however for the most part these are all fantastic. My faves are the ones that incorporate guitars, especially the Helios's remixes, that guy is a genius. Almost sounds like Neil Young (minus vocals) covering BoC. The live drums and guitars just bring a new element to already incredible songs.

Again, 652, you rock.

Im not blaming you 652, no way.
Im only saying that upon looking through the list once downloaded, I was excited at the prospect of listening to some of the remixes by artists I never thought had done work on them. When I listened I found quite a few to be tracks I already have, obviously, as they arent remixes. Theyre jus the originals taken from mix cds etc, so they are shorter or have the beginning or ends of other tracks at each end.
Now the ones there that are remixes Im very grateful for and thanks for putting them up. I just dont think 652 should clock them as remixes. Thats all. Not having a bitch. I was just dissapointed.

Maybe my views on remixing boards, like Aphex, has taken over me again here. Dont wanna come across like a c*nt.

Peace
