I thought their myspace has always said something along the liens of in the studio.

No, it doesn't always say that. The last time it said it the Solange thing was released right after. I think it's actually a pretty good indicator of activity.

Well Geogaddi came out on the 19th here, so I thought I'd mention it since I forgot.

That is interesting though. Yeah, people from the US aren't going to notice it because the calender here reads 02/21/2012.

Also, you know what, this thread should probably be changed to "BOARDS OF CANADA GENERAL" because that's pretty much what it is all the time. Not that people should stop discussing the release speculation, but it would just fit more.

Hmm, Boards of Canada 'in the studio' since Dec. 22 and three new photos posted just before (link). I did not notice this until now. I think it would be cool if these kinds of colors represent the artwork for the new record. I am getting tired of turquoise (or inverted turquoise) all the time.

Anyway, I feel like things are building... 2012 is going to be the year when BoC finally reveal what the hell they have been up to in the last half-decade.

which track was it? really dug it (and the set) and don't recognize it

It's his own remix of Windowlicker, it's called acid mix or something like that.

Fuck me I got so angry while listening to Light House Party gig, they basically play almost all my all time BoC favourites, but those guys you hear talking are so fucking annoying. How the hell can u actually talk while seeing BoC live? What the hell man. Bunch of cunts.

Just like I felt when I listened to it! Annoying. Like those people who come punch drunk to an epic gig you have been waiting for ages and stand in front of you friggin yelling, spilling beer, pushing you around causing ruckus and you just want hit that fella in the groin.

It's on 26 mixes or w/e. Pretty cool track. Most of that album is kind of forgettable tho.
