Me neither. It carries tracks from other releases we know of - it follows that it could also carry tracks from those missing releaases.Opothecary wrote:Many of the tracks on that tape seem to cut off from longer versions. It would not surprise me at all to learn that many of the tracks on that tape are actually from the "missing" releases, we just don't know the titlesEnder wrote:This is just a track off the 35 Random Tracks tape.....
I've often wonder of the purpose of R35TT, why it was put together. I wonder if the tape was compiled as some kind of sampler, maybe for a project or film, as all the tracks are short or cut off slightly.
We had a dream last night. We had the same dream.
I've never thought of them as shortened songs or songs that end prematurely. There are exceptions of course. A4 ends too early for example. In all fairness it was a tape at one time so whoever converted it to mp3 could have just cut them too short.23degreesdream wrote:Me neither. I always figured Random 35 was a mix tape from all of the old releases meant to be played at a party where the boys were too lazy to get their kit out. A few Guinness later doesn't make anything any easier.
Wasn't R35TT the one that they said something like "no idea where that came from, it's just a mish mash of our stuff"? Like it surprised even them it was all together in one collection, unlike the Old Tunes tapes that had some kind of a story about how they got out.zeoevil wrote:I've never thought of them as shortened songs or songs that end prematurely. Yes, they did say that. And yes, I agree it could be "infinite lines of colourful sevens," but it could just as easily be any other unreleased track. Saying that it's "infinite lines of colourful sevens" is completely random and out of nowhere.MrMessiah wrote:Wasn't R35TT the one that they said something like "no idea where that came from, it's just a mish mash of our stuff"?
