Am I just high, or...

Post by fitterhappier »

...is Chromakey Dreamcoat rhythmically brilliant?
...is there the sound of sailors and a submarine ping around the 2-minute mark in Sherbet Head?
...would you agree with me that the Dayvan Cowboy video is more short film than music video?
...am I the only one who thinks of The Campfire Headphase as a wintertime album?— more specifically, an arctic album? In my mind, it's cut from some of the same fabric as Biosphere's Substrata.

Am I just high or... does Oirectrine have the most beautiful/melancholic textures that sound like a fleece blanket rubbing across your ear drums?

I agree with all of this except I think the album is great for any season. It has that sun-bleached sound to it, pointing to summer, but also feels very isolated, pointing to winter.

Yeah, the season of the album is the season it is when you hear it.

... Is Boards of Canada hiding something from us?
... Is Pete Standing Alone the perfect track for a wild west film?
... Is that voice in Music Is Math saying "Oh help me, i am sick" ?
... Is Basefree actually a really beautiful song?
... Are these brothers just brilliant?

These are some of the things i ask myself

Does ataronchronon sound like water?

Is magic window the greatest song ever created?

How old are old tunes?

Is smokes quantity not the coolest nickname ever?

What DOES the sky feel like?

I want to know more about the title satellite anthem icarus.

I either had a crazy dream or was too stupid to take a picture, but I remember recently seeing some old tattered looking book and it was titled "*something* by numbers" (MAYBE sing or something along those lines)

I need to stop smoking so much  get my memory back

I just realized the incredibly similarity of the track Basefree to the way Burial's drum tracks created...

I just realized my Twoism record is one of my most prized possessions.

...Does the squeaking sound in Peacock Tail sound exactly like a dog?
...Is Geogaddi's cover one of the best pieces of album art ever?
...Does the beginning of XYZ remind you of a Pink Floyd song?
...Is Corsair one of BoC's most underrated tracks?

I always thought it was the sound of fingers running down the strings of an acoustic guitar

I'm pretty sure it is, but every time I hear it it just strikes me as the sound of a cute little puppy bark

I realised that Beach at Redpoint sounded like music that is played at raves on some distant planet.
