Vocals question from ATP 2001 untitled track.

Post by Distant Nebulus »

My question is, at the follwing times, is it just me or does it sound like a man saying "Cigarette Butt" (LOL)..?

-5:30, 5:48, 6:05, 6:23, 6:40, 6:59....

Also, it almost sounds like either Mike or Marcus providing that particular vocal on each of these time slots. obviously I wasn't there, but the vocal echos like it was spoken into a mic during the live performance.

Glorious song btw...

I still think this is one of their best songs... EVER. MDG, tell them I said I love it. Tell them I asked with the most sincere respect to release a high quality version of this.

Regards.

Pretty sure that's a female voice.

Seconded! One of my favourites too. A high quality version will be a dream-come-true!

That's a good call, actually - and I very much agree with the comments on this track.

BoC will never cease to amaze me in why the fuck tracks like these haven't been released. This track almost feels more Hell Interface than BoC actually...

(Oh, I think "see the rainbow" too! Power of suggestion and all that...)

Doesn't sound like a female voice and I have no idea what's being said... need a higher quality recording from this show ;)

Only tangentially related -- here is a ZIP of the ATP songs. There are other versions out there, but this is what I have bookmarked.

This is my personal favourite of the unknown live tracks.

I'd already be happy if we were only given the proper title of this piece. Let alone receiving this track in full quality one time in the future perhaps.

Aahhhh we are allowed to dream, right?

PS: Any clues on the robotic vocal sample right after the "see the rainbow" part? this one

I always thought the vocoded voice was saying 'NOATAK' and maybe this was the track from Hooper Bay. Track lengths are also similar.

I doubt they had this in their locker back then though.
