Ultrasonic Easter Eggs

I was talking to Ex orb member Thrash a while ago and he was saying they would put in ultrasonic noises in their early tracks to get reactions out of animals when played in a home with pets... anyone notice anything like that with BOC?

I think the idea was to get the animal to freak out.

The Beatles first experimented with this at the end of A Day In The Life. It happens after the song ends, but before it goes into that repetative looping thing.

Good stuff. I should do this with my music.

ok, ive looked at a few threads about playing songs in reverse and playing songs faster or slower to look for easter eggs and i thought of an other way of trying to hide info in a song.

so i scoured over the campfire headphase looking for anything that might be hidden and i noticed that in one one song, sherbert head, there was some extra inaudble content showing on my spectrogram:

so i did a highpass @ ~16k and demodulated @ 22500hz, the result was:

knowing that most people cant hear over 18k, this strikes me an an effective form of steganography. maybe, if done correctly, it could be used to hide songs or messages right under our noses, or over our ears w/o us knowing it.

what i found upon demodulation was sherbert head lacking vocals and the bass.

I thought that the whole issue with CDs is that there are certain frequency ranges outside of human perception that CDs cannot represent...

OF course maybe we're talking about the vinyl, but you'd need some quality speakers to pull it off, I'd think.
