alpha & omega 12"

Post by bryce »

hello twoism ..

i've been a looooong time lurker, with not much to add, so I've just been listening.

i'm moving my studio, and found that I had two more alpha & omega 12" than I needed. I am not sure if they are 180g version, as they are not in front of me (but I can check when I get home, I don't remember them being particularly thick last time I checked). They were sent to me by the label a long time ago with posters, postcards, stickers etc ... those seem to be lost in the whirlpool that is my life.

what i do need is a peel sessions 12" and/or twoism 12".

might someone be in a similar situation and want to trade?

how about a sale helping you gain the necessary money you need to buy the albums you want? You'd be doing someone here a good favor, even if you just let go of one.

Just for the record (no pun intended) I have a spare Geogaddi promo for grabs if anyone would like it? Maybe someone would trade with me in return for some kind of suprise item? :-D (anything at all).

once again....how about a sale offer along with your trade bargain. Some people don't have any BOC merchandise, and you'd be allowing them a chance to own something. Since you're on this forum its easier than finding a random on discogs. I have a friend here with $$ and hes drooling for the correct opportunity to find some vintage boards merch/old boards vinyls. So i propose thinking about adding sale offers to your trade appeals.

P.S. people with accounts here, may have friends who lurk but dont join , or like b.o.c. a lot , so they may tell other about the sales too.

kev.

my only issue with selling it, is that its worth more money than I think its worth, as are most BOC records .. so a barter would mean no huge monetary gain/loss .. except to make up worth difference between the two records ... and I thought to keep it amongst fans

and also an angel dies every time someone says vinyls.

what did the last one on ebay sell for ?

What on earth are you talking about, that's what they are made from

Seriously I keep hearing uneducated people complain about this name and it makes me wonder....

It's just that you cannot pluralize the word "vinyl". I am an English teacher. Have a nice day.

ok ...

i guess you are right, here is as good a place as any to sell them. money will going towards the purchase of missing boc titles in my collection.

i will look into the weight tonight .. but offers welcome.

my comment on vinyls was a joke of course ... but you should know it nearly ended my marriage. While vinyl is noun, the item you speak of is not "a vinyl", but rather a record (vinyl records).
Came across this ... http://thepluralofvinyl.com/
