Attention Last fm users

Post by GH »

Just a heads up. Last fm reckon their password database base been breached and recommend users change passwords immediately.
This news isn't the freshest, but I've only just found out myself, so thought there may be a few users here who didn't know.

:?

I think the precaution is more to do with the fact that a lot of people, as misguided as it is, use the same password for everything. So if somebody gets their password for Last fm, they may also hold their password for gmail, for example.

So yeah, I'd rather know about it.
