I`m not really planning to stay in holland.when I`m older maybe imigrate to somewhere else.
Can you tell me where you live, how the atmosphere is like, living expences ,enviourment etc.

I like it here. Some people would say that living here is not worth the efforts if u have the opportunity to immigrate. Many friends at my age try their best to go live'n'work in the USA, UK, Germany, etc.
Life here is hard but not impossible. We have VERY beautiful nature (it is world wide proven fact;)), calm and friendly folks. We do sucks hard when it comes to government and politics but things are gettin better with the time. Compared to the western countries living standard here is low but as i said it's just not very easy, not impossible to make money and enjoy life.
We bulgarians just love to complain... especially if there's someone to listen.

Well I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the 5th largest city in the US. It has one of the highest rates of gun deaths in our country. People are fucking gun crazy in Philly. On New Years eve it is very popular to shoot in the air at midnight. People almost always get shot. People are mean and there is crazy competion for space. The line between the rich and the poor is staggering. Lots of homeless people, some are completely crazy, most choose to live on the street. Our city goverment is extremely corrupt. There has been a very long and deep investigation by the FBI of our city goverment. We have Love Park which is a huge skateboarding mecca, but unfortunately you'll get arrested if you try to skate there now. We also have FDR park which is a concrete skatepark that was illegaly built years back by skaters and alot of concrete. We have had the Xgames here twice and the Gravity games once. I don't like it here and I want to move back to the country after my wife finishes school. It does have nice things about it too. Lot's of good music comes from Philadelphia. There are nice people here, but we're mostly dragged down by people who don't want to do anything for themselves except buy, buy, buy and buy more. The culture of America is shit.

Provo, UT

Pros:

1) Beautiful women
2) Largely safe, friendly people
3) Skiing/Longboarding/Hiking/Hang Gliding/etc. all within an hour's radius
4) Beautiful springs/summers/falls
5) Great Thai food
6) Provo Canyon. One of my favorite places on earth.
7) The Rocky Mountains right at your doorstep.

Cons:
1) Sucky, sucky, sucky music stores
2) DJ Shadow (and most Ninja and Warp people) never come through Salt Lake
3) Hellish winters
4) Bad/Obnoxious drivers
5) SUCKY mexican food
6) Very far away from Scotland in the event that any esoteric boc parties pop up

Overall, though, I like the place. I'd recommend it to anybody, notwithstanding its location in the, gasp, United States. (Another place that, despite how trendy it is to trash-talk it lately, I still like

)

I think I need to add a bit to my post. Yes, the culture of America is shit, however America is a very large country and even though it is fairly homogenized we do have very different regions in the US. For instance the Disavowed's experience is very different from mine as would someone who lives in say Alabama or Maine or Florida or Oregon. Perhaps it would have been better if I said corporate culture is shit and it's unfortunate that at this time it has a strangle hold on America. I would say this to the rest of the world, don't judge the people of this country on what our politicians do, because the gap between politicians and your average citizen is HUGE. Politicians act as if they were royalty, they have absolutely no idea what it is to struggle or to be in need.

i live in san diego...ive always been one to complain about its "in-ness" or trendiness, but i have to say after traveling to other [u.s.] places i always am missing its...open-endedness...its fucking nice weather....i mean there are alot (most) beaches down here suck..too commercial and whatnot...but there is still blacks beach..a secluded cliffside beach that all the hundreds of psychedelic heads and some college students gather at every full moon to have a massive bonfire and fucking REDICULOUS drum circle...plus there is ocean beach(in my avatar)..which is the maybe one last beach community that keeps it real with the chill way of life and mindset...id reccomend coming here...its not the best but so much more diverse then most...good quality, fairly cheap substance of all kinds also! but have fun if ya find yerself down here...im moving up to the redwood forests in northern california in about 2 months...a nice upgrade of life...?

Don't worry steve-o, we don't judge the American people overhere, only the Bush administration. This is off-topic but i condemn the war in Irak! The stupidity of the republicans in the US is tremendous when they expect to create a democracy as we know it in Iraq. Muslims don't believe in the separation of religion and politics like we do!

let's see, i'll try to keep this short:

i was born and raised in mexico city and moved (legally) to the US about 7 years ago because of my dad's work. i like the US; it's got a lot of shit for sure, but if you stay out of the mainstream you'll find a lot of culture and interesting people. being an immigrant here is not easy though; i'd say the worst part is having most of your family and friend network on the other side of the border. it's hard to start from 0, and i'm doing that again now that i moved from the east coast to the west coast. fortunately, people here are more used to immigrants than the people in the small town that i used to live in back in Connecticut.

i think i'm gonna stay here for a while ; but i definitely would like to live in Europe or Canada for some time before i eventually retire and go back to mexico.

I live in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. I've lived in Dubbo since I was born, Dubbo is a small city, but is constantly growing. People say that there's nothing to do, but I don't think so, probably because I'm boring.

And there's a big problem with Aboriginal riots across the bridge, the government wants to split them up and have them go to other places. But I think it's a bad idea.

Ofcourse it is, Australië is the country of the Aboriginals!! The US government did the same with native Americans!

I was kind of shocked by the amount of casual racism i encountered when i was in Australia. It amazes me how these people can't see the hypocrisy of denouncing immigrants in a country entirely founded (quite recently) on immigration.
