Check out this brilliant little test where you arrange Pantone colors. The lower your score, the better your visual color acuity.

I got a 0, but I was extremely careful. I went back and checked my answers. This involved moving my head position in very awkward ways and using my peripheral vision (which is generally better).

My result says "You have perfect color vision!", a score of 0 - better than I expected!

The colours as I arranged them didn't clearly look like they were in order of brightness when I moved back and viewed the whole scale - I don't know if that's a sign of some other aspect of my vision being off, or a common illusion of the way the hue alters brightness perception - but in any event, I tried to ignore that and just gauge the differences in hue.
