Chromakey Coat Tails (Remix of end section...)

I recently had a first attempt of remixing a BoC track. Though I'd start with that beautiful part at the end of Chromakey Dreamcoat, you know the one...I always found this outro really tantilising, to me it sounds like an entire track that they just sampled at the end...to tease us.. (and to make us rewind and relisten to the entire track again...) A nice trick

Anyway, I have expanded this track into a 5min "full on" track. Hope you enjoy...

Nice work. I can tell that last segment of Chromakey was inspirational for you..

It kind of reminds me of like... some 80's rock anthem... on acid....

Hey Red,

Do you have a version saved out without the drums? Sounds like there's a lot of stuff going on in the background.

Must have liked it though as I zoned out and it must have been on repeat for a half-a-dozen cycles.

i think it is really really REALLY great but jeasus get rid of that 80's crap beat and get maybe a soft beat in there or leave it with no beat?

amazing remix, as some said found myself kind of zoning out a little listening to it, but the drums, hmmm now i happen to love percussion but of all the options there must be others, i think the loop is fantastic, and can almost hear some indian sitar thing going on with an african djembe drum, but not the 80's kick snare or whatever it is, hehe, like it though, going ot listen again.

You guys were right, I have removed the drums from the track and it does sound a lot better. Not sure what I was thinking including them.... sometime it's very hard to be objective with your own music I guess...
