I like their Com Truise vibes, but that's it.
I just don't understand where they are coming from. I have an uncle who likes their music. He's dead now. (Cancer)

Tobacco is better. It's dirtier and funkier. However, BMSR is not without its charms.

Dandelion Gum is really the only entry point for BMSR.
For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwJamPPTJl4

However, Tobacco is a really solid and likeable alternative.[/url]

Never heard of "Black Moth Super Rainbow Sucks". Sounds oddly similar to Black Moth Super Rainbow, though.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

While they've never really done it for me (I think I'd prefer their tracks as instrumentals), I've never felt compelled to start a thread about it.

Wow! That's quite the opinionated statement, would you care to elaborate why you feel this way?

(Sorry, but I really enjoy their sounds. Each album is very different from the next).

I don't disrespect your opinion, but you have stated it like it's a fact.

Juicy Cobras? What a joke. I would rather spin some Com Truise.

I really like start a people and falling through a field. but the band seems far too gimicky now a days (for me anyway). and they seem to go out of there way to make themselves as wierd as possible, which can be creative, but after a while it just seems pretentious. for me, it's just pretentious. the sound of the later albums is too glossy and sterile for me. more like a pop record. I prefer the first 2 albums. I will not be purchasing the new album, or the 'mask.'

what really turned me off about bmsr is the "backing" thing they have going. $5,000? so only the people with money get the perks? that just isn't cool in my opinion. renting the band for a rollerskating backdrop and pizza party is just ridiculous.... basically the band is saying "we are for sale." I understand they are using the funds to release music, travel etc., but still a cheap ass move.

In the end of it all, though, funding is better than no funding.

But I'll leave it here because it's now funny.

Yeah, thought it might have been a troll, like those videos they played before their tour a couple of years back.

BMSR and now Tobacco to me were projects that I totally fell for on first listen and played to death but unfortunately have a miniscule amount of replay value to me - both these projects and BOC underwent similar cycles like so many people experience, and well, Boards just have that replay value for me.

bmsr are pretty cool, and Eating Us is definitely a grower record, It's come to be one of my fave BMSR albums, definitely better than Dandelion Gum. Start a People is pretty damn good too though.

When i post my fan video to Monster Rally, some dude said that Rally mood is quite similar to BMSR.
I checked only a few tracks but i think they are not sucks so much as you guys think so.
I'll check all their discography and make an irreversible decision :)

I don't listen to them much, but I have great expectations for this new album they are putting out. The track they put on their soundcloud is fucking amazing. Spraypaint, weeyyyy

You've obviously got a right to your own opinion, but don't go out of your way to try and spoil it for others.

Personally, it took a bit of time for them to grow on me but after seeing them live it was hard not to be converted completely.

The track at the end of their Kickstarter video is epic. New album cant be bad. And a whole remix album of it coming too so..95k at the moment. 8)

Official release date: "Cobra Juicy will be out October 9!"

And a new single:
