Yes, I still think it's completely crazy, to me there were safer options that were ignored for reasons unknown to me. Mind you, I truly hope this works, it's a great little machine, even if it's name sucks.

Yeah odds aren't really too promising judging by previous mars attempts to land craft. Generally about 50% successful. Here's hoping !

Did you read that Curiosity will (or has) played the first song from earth on Mars? Out of all the the music they could have chosen they decided to play a song by Will.I.Am

FFS. They obviously want possible life on Mars to hate us.

there has been some confusion. this is the first time that the particular song will be played, and its going to be played on mars. its not the first time ANY song is ever going to be played on mars, just the first time a song is going to make its DEBUT on mars. yes.
