By the way, I'm so amazed by the fact that I joined twoism seven years ago... it's still like yesterday when I registered here and discussed the interesting facts hidden inside BoC's tracks.

Doesn't it just?! You've been around here even longer than me! I myself hardly post myself anymore, unless I find some new music someone may be interested in, or to check out recommendations on other artists and listen to new (and old) talent. It sure was different here 5-6 years ago, but it is like an old friend that stays with you, even if most of the original members have moved on.

I agree entirely. I remember well the day I clicked Submit on the twoism.org registration form, and now I have in excess of 400 posts - by far the most I have made under any single persona on a forum.

twoism is, without a doubt, a very special place. <3

Even though I come here practically every 10 minutes, I'm starting to wonder why. It seems that no one here ever posts anything worth discussing anymore.

And BoC is certainly a lost cause by now.

Well, I believe that's just it. This isn't a "check every 10 minutes" kind of forum. But, I think it's better that way. Again, the slow pace allows for slightly more thoughtful discussion (that is, when we can muster up the content!).

I like my daily-ish twoism checks :v

Ive only joined twoism recently , but its not the only place that is going like this. Even kvr has sunk to depths i never expected , when it comes to getting decent feedback.
The problem is , there are way too many musicians now. TEchnology has made it possible for anyone to have a go at it , and the result is complete oversaturation , and they are predominantly very selfish and think they are the centre of the universe. Ive seen posts by people , practically crying for feedback , and i felt sorry for them cos i remember when that was me , 10 years ago.
I gave helpful , insightful , unhurried feedback , whilst being careful not to snuff out the sparks of creativity they did have amongst the terrible Eq , poor arrangements , terrible sound choices etc........
9 times out of 10 , the favour wasnt returned , because its ALLabout them and their ticket to skrillex-ville .

Ive seen the boards at soundclick die , seen this same discussion on idmf , and been on watmm ( troll town ) and its always because of the same thing..........selfishness / ego.

If twoism is to get back on its feet , its members need to be selfless and realise that other people put a lot of love and passion into their music too.

That being said....the board topics are badly set out i think. I was unsure where to post my tracks as its not crystal clear.......but it should be.
A few more sections wouldnt hurt either cos it feels limited.
Id like to stick around and be a loyal contributor , but traffic gotta flow in 2 directions .

Been busy with work / music lately. I still love this forum. So much talent on this board. I would like to see this place more alive with content and more traffic, but in the 7 or so years I've been on here I have seen it go from crowded to near death, it goes through these funks but since this for the most part a BoC fan forum, if or when a new BoC record comes out, it will be back running full force again. It always does. I agree that a lot of new members who join just for the sake of getting feedback on their music is bullshit. You never see them post in any other part of Twoism. Oh well, there are still plenty of awesome people on here.

I'd suggest that if the boards aren't moving quickly enough for you, you find something else to fill your time with! I like the fact that I can check in after 4 days and rejoin the same conversation!

I was just noticing that too... sorry I've been off the boards lately and the internets as well. I've moved twice since june.. went through a break up over this summer and have definitely left twoism and muffwigglers for much of the last six months. and have been trying to find work in that time as well.

In other news I got real productive musically though as a consequence. Which I wouldn't deign to post a link to here..

A friend from the Portland area art scene recently directed his first short film entitled HYPHEMA and it features a scene with my track, Eating The Sun!!!

I don't know what to say or do, but I'm trying to get back haunting these boards..life's busy these days, I'm in school for recording so that's taking up a lot of my time lol. I'll do my best..though maybe if BoC had something new there'd be more motivation to discuss shit. It's kind of hard when I've absorbed their entire available recorded output years ago, and while I still listen to them all the time, I can only repeat myself so many times....
