Haha, I'm not sure, Bearhead. It was an idea I had.

I know the voting prize is more of a popularity contest than listening to the submissions, but if anyone has an account..voting starts tomorrow if you could please consider giving mine a thumbs up that’d be alright with me. :)
This just went up for voting on Beatport, actually. If anyone has an account I'd appreciate if you would take a second out to click vote. :)

It's sort of a grungy space rock track. I plan on adding vocals to it, but I may just keep it as an instrumental jam. It could work either way.

That track is pretty cool- I could totally see very shoe gaze-y my bloody valentine style vocals over this to kind of emphasize the music

Thanks, man. Haha. I honestly didn't mean for it to become this really big song. The tube preamp pushed the guitar a little harder than necessary, so I went ahead and just recorded with the gain almost at max. I was going for a sort of a Robert Pollard (there's a link below) feel after the initial start.

What kind of keyboard is that? I really love the tone of it.

Oh thank you!

It's a patch on my MicroKORG -- one I came up with early on through just playing with it and learning how to use everything, I'll have a look tomorrow if I remember, to see what the settings and stuff are.

I'm a DAW user. No actual keyboards for me (right now). When I'm not broke, I plan on buying a Juno. But if you could make C3-C6 samples... Dear god.
