If you could only listen to one BoC song...

Post by bearhead »

If you could only listen to one BoC song for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why?

Keep in mind, you can listen to anything else from every other artist, but you're only allowed one song by Boards of Canada.

I'm going with "Kid For Today".

Either Tears from the Compound Eye or 5.9.78

Melissa Juice.

There is no other song that affects me in the same way Melissa Juice does.

EDIT: Except for Poppy Seed (Reprise). Gets me right in the childhood.

Julie and Candy.
So psychedelic, complex, beautiful, happy and sad at the same time.

I'll cheat and choose Audiotrack 13A as "vignette" :)
That filthy organ sound just gets me everytime along with the build up to the end which is just incredible.

This is my first post since lurking these forums for several years btw, so hello everyone!

I'd go for "Seven Forty Seven", I think I've never heard anything that intense before.
