No one is saying he's a chronic liar. I'm sure his intentions are good. But it's clear his "intel" isn't the most reliable.

If new music comes out I'll be super excited, but if worst comes to worst, we have a band that left us a ton of awesome music. All the BoC albums are good and they all stand up to time. How many people can say that about their favourite band? Overall, we have it pretty good. We could be Muse or Pearl Jam fans constantly disappointed by terrible new releases!

All I know is that I'm pretty content anyway, since Godspeed You! Black Emperor recently released a new album after 10 years of hiatus.

Yes, good point. There is still great music out there to keep us busy while we wait. I am finding new music all the time.
Whether there will be a new album out this year or next year remains to be seen. If that artist you mentioned can bring out a new album after 10 years, then theres still hope for a new BOC album.

The question was aimed towards the "powers that be", or the hexagon sun folks, who control the internet presence of Boards of Canada.
Maybe there is someone out there (MDG?) who can give some insight on the "lack of" official webpage activity (since the black image) compared to the facebook, myspace, (or twitter?) accounts, which seem to be the only "active" internet sources as of lately. So this makes it seem like the official website is controlled differently regarding "news". Just wondering why this is so. Cheers.
