I've been listening to you music every spare moment this weekend and I really love it! The album you did with Bearhead is incredible! I will keep my eyes on you from now on ;)

Oh wow thanks! Yeah I'm pretty proud of the bearhead collab- his stuff on the split is really damned good.

I have plenty of material I could upload to my bandcamp but it's all very old and eclectic.. perhaps I could put some of it up in the meantime.

But sounds good, I will certainly keep people updated on this new thing when I get to it.

Oh and btw if you haven't checked out this thing on my bandcamp- http://maketapesounds.bandcamp.com/albu ... apes-vol-5

it's a collection of sorta sounding boards of canada stuff from wayyyy back. It's very lofi. But yeah the new stuff I'm working on should be in a similar vein as this but a little more mature I'd say.

Thanks man. Yeah whenever I finish something new I always give it a listen and create some kind of art to go with it. I kinda stole that idea from Devendra Banhart lol.

As you very well should be. This is twoism, and you are making music that is exactly the sort of thing that many people here would appreciate. The more self-promotion the better, in this case! :)

Really digging this one, man. I love the texture of the guitar at the end. Really warbly and crunchy.

You could do another Yugen-length record of 'B-sides and outtakes', perhaps. I would certainly download it. Frankly, your music doesn't really need anything cohesive holding it together - I tend to just look at your records as a collection of somewhat disorganized eclectic short gems.

Very nice, as usual.

p.s. That reminds me: I was watching the Alfred Hitchcock film "Vertigo" yesterday evening, and when Grace Kelly said the bit about "Dying is only a moment for you" I immediately thought, "HOLY SHIT! TAPE SOUNDS SAMPLE!" :D

Yeah I'll try to upload some stuff in the near future. There's a ton of old old stuff and random tunes. If you haven't you can check out all of the old and lost tapes.. that's various material that's been recorded over the years which is up on my bandcamp.

And I'm hoping to start making more coherent albums- the idea of a concept album almost is really interesting to me.. I've kinda wanted to do something along those lines for a while.

Thanks. And hahaha that's awesome- yeah later on I realized where the sample was from, I had originally recorded it from a scene in 12 monkeys where they're watching the Hitchcock film in a theatre.

The whole "sea salt" song was made from a sample of the creepy textures playing in the background of that film.
