As an opposite to the Guilty Pleasures, which artists do you just not like - they're critically acclaimed, your friends keep trying to convince you they're great, but.... no.
Bruce Springsteen
Muse
Tool/ System of a Down
Nothing you can say or do will convince they're anything but over-rated cack....

Yes.
I'll get a lot of flack for this one, but I just can't get into Animal Collective. I don't think they're bad per se, but it's not for me.

It's really hard for me to get into Animal Collective as well. I appreciate them, so I don't dislike them, but they're one that I don't get per se.

I can't hate Elbow. They're too housewife friendly now, but I've loved them from waaaaay back when they were playing to 3 people at Wolverhampton Wulfrun hall. Besides, they love Soundgarden so on principle I HAVE to love them.

Coldplay AAGGGH
my friend was listening to a song of theirs and it had some cool ambient stuff
And I was thinking, usually the average joe things this sort of stuff is weird but have it in a Coldplay song and magically its ok. That's a very dumb thing to get upset over, I know.

Coldplay are shit, but Parachutes wasn't too bad. I really liked Spies and Yellow, but maybe that was of its time.

Don't Panic is a pretty solid Coldplay song, but maybe I just like it because of my love of Garden State.

Damn right. Not even sure I can name a few songs I like by 'em though.
AC/DC for me. I don't even get it in a dumb comedy rock band way.
I'm with Mexicola on Elbow though. I still love that first "difficult" album. The last two have been horrible, mind.
Good thing is, most music I hate I can just ignore. Except Mumford and Sons. They offend me.
