Heres a video made by the same artist in 1985!
Pretty cool, especially considering how old it is.

Very nice stuff. Would be even better if most of this was his own footage. Some of it seems to be archive footage.

Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

"The people in the video(s) are my extended family, with the footage dating back to the 1960's."

I actually asked him to do the Short of Duffy and I love how it turned out. It reminds me of camping and hiking with my family as a young child.

All the footage is mine excluding shorts two and three.

Also thanks zeoevil, for promoting me. I really appreciated your comment saying "immeasurable thanks".

No problem at all. That backwards bit on Number Eight is amazing. I had no idea.

Audiotrack 12A from "Random 35 Tracks" coupled with this video makes my soul tingle.

Does anyone here have an idea as to what the source footage for this vid is?

if anyone wants to see an uncannily well-synced vid (same caliber as Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz?) with Sunshine Recorder and a scene from 1973's Soylent Green, here you go:
