writing the next chapter of my short story in which the protagonist breaks reality so it folds back on itself so when he tries to tell time it asks him what time it is or when he watches tv it watches him and trying to write a segment about him reading a book in which the story is his own thoughts is proving to be horribly difficult to articulate lol

This is a collaboration between Devendra Banhart, David Byrne of Talking Heads and my cousin, who did the illustration :D.

Hehe, I'm sure she would love to but it's probably not possible.

Ironically it was her father who introduced me to Devendra in 2005 and I've been a big fan since. I was quite surprised when he told me his daughter was teaming up with him :D.

Yeah I love Devendra Banhart's stuff, he's quite the eclectic fellow. But either way, that is really cool that she worked with him on that video- which was pretty entertaining as well.

My recent malaise has affected me a bit even today. Feeling mildly anxious about nothing in particular... I'm hoping it's because I've not been sleeping so much.

Can less sleep have this effect?

Ah well, I'm not tooo bad. Merry Christmas, all!

I get the same thing when I don't get much sleep, I feel sorta anxious and awkward throughout the day... though this may happen because I convince myself that if I don't get a full night's sleep I'll be delirious.

I have been having really vivid dreams lately... last night I had a dream that china was an island city and I visited there and it was this bizarre sort of gigantic ancient temple city surrounded by water and I took a train that went underwater and travelled to the bottom of the sea.. in which there was a hole or portal of sorts that we travelled through and suddenly I was teleported to a gigantic forest where everyone and anyone I'd ever met in my life was there and I ran around greeting people I hadn't seen in years. It was a lot of fun

Thank you sir. It's going... interestingly lol. If you wanna take a look at what's been written so far feel free, I'm not sure if the scene I was talking about is working out or not.

Sorry to impose, haha.

I'd say that this is a slightly overdramatic introduction to a song, wouldn't you?

Youtube just deleted all of the videos from two major label accounts because of their practice in boosting their video videos through fake accounts & apparent hacks. Suckerpunched!

I like seeing justice. :)

It's becoming apparent that I'm one of the the only people in my friendship group now who have never been in a relationship.

That's both a downer on its own and because it's a really lame thing to feel mildly down about.

Same here buddy. It's especially uncomfortable when they start talking about that kind of stuff around you.

I wouldn't feel so bad about this if I were you. The right person will come along eventually. It's not good to be in a relationship with someone who you don't really love just so you feel a little less awkward around your friends.

It's more about self worth really.
