Hello. My new Dissolved album "Surge of the Lucid" comes out on Daddy Tank Records
on the 28th January.
This album was created throughout the whole of 2012.
It's my 3rd album for the label and the follow up to "The Amber Surrealizations".
9 tracks of atmospheric and experimental electronica and ambience.
The use of the vocals - unexpected, but interesting... There are a few points where certain sounds or sections kick-in that I'm really feeling - a reminder of your style at its best. On the first listen, it's some lengthy track - and it didn't know if I was going to like the direction at first - but the highlights sustained it comfortably, and made it well worth the listen.
Any plans for a short sampler / preview of the other tracks, as with The Amber Surrealizations?

I was so steeped in making this last year that it's nice to finally step away and release it into the wild!
Betacord, I will definitely be putting up a preview, possibly the whole album to stream on Bandcamp on release date. We're quite excited about the CD. I can tell you that stylistically it's different, quite dark with bright highlights, Forgotten Processes is the only track with Vocals! : ) The track is an odd tale about my experience working in photography darkrooms. It's a shorter album in terms of tracks but a few of those are lengthy. Thanks, Paul.
