Digging everything on this, but not so keen on the lead sound. Otherwise nice.Cupz wrote:
best jazz song in the world. Beats charlie parker.
I listened to Sakura, and really like the mood. Nice tone to it. Drums could come down a pinch.JosephG wrote:two new ones:
Very nice. Pretty. Would work well in a film.bearhead wrote:
Some sad/spacey guitar music.
Catchy this. It's got a bit of an African flavour. Love that melancholic line that comes in at 0:43. Actually this is great. Love it.Tomisnever wrote:Ones of those tracks i just can't finish, so im just gana put it out there anyway.

Thanks for the feedback, man. When I go back and finish everything and redo the guitars, it'll sound a little bit different. That was sort of an idea more than a song. The guitars were kind of laggy-timed at the intro. It'll have drums and vocals, and won't build so quickly.GH wrote:Very nice. Pretty. Would work well in a film.
^^ that one took me a while to finally get right. went through a phase where it had kind of a 90's dance beat, which I decided sounded too thin, finally added some subtle vocals, etc. pretty happy with how it turned out

Don't know much about chiptune, but lots of really cool musical ideas and percussion work going on. Very enjoyable listen. The intro/beginning though develops slow to the point I was almost tempted to click away - I think if you cut out about two minutes overall to really focus the composition this could be even stronger.bearhead wrote:
I tried my hand at making Sega Genesis-esque music. What do you guys think?
Actually brings Four Tet to mind for me. Very chill.honeypower wrote:

I definitely agree. But the reason I had to make it so long was because its intended purpose is to serve as a song for someone's Youtube channel, so it's really intro, background, outro music. They can chop out which pieces they want and loop that in their video, etc. It's long enough to do that. Now if it were just a song I made, it'd probably sit around the 3 minute mark. I appreciate the feedback though.Bryan wrote:
