this. I know it's off topic, but it's really amazing - the first half of the album is familiar in a good way, and it feels like they are really breaking new ground on the last few tracks. Gives me hope that with the long wait, BoC won't fall off with their upcoming album either.

I recall reading a post(maybe it was a picture of a post) from the "brothers" saying that not only were they releasing a new album, but officially releasing(or rather re releasing in a way) old material(possibly Old Tunes Complete Collection?) but i think it was fake. I sure hope they do eventually release that old material some day...

I don't think you're wrong to suggest that's what IS going to happen as it seems to be hinted at. When the Old Tunes thing happened, whoever wrote that statement said they - the bros - had been in touch with Warp about rereleasing some old material. Maybe the fact it all got leaked put them off though? Likewise, if you check the Statements from Hexagon Sun on bocpages.org you'll see that people in touch with the group have repeatedly said new music is coming. However, I don't think the brothers have commented on it themselves although I could be wrong.

the lollapalooza leak doesn't make any sense to me and i think it would have to be fake. id picture boc doing smaller venues if they were to ever play live shows again. a smaller venue would feel more personal, and they would be able to have tighter control over the sound and visuals than at a festival.
