Goldie : Timeless
FSOL : Lifeforms
That is just a start. I don't mean they are better, per say, maybe just had more of an influence on your musical tastes. I am 34, so that does have an influence. Both albums were mid 90's and I hadn't heard Twoism at that point.

Reload - A collection of Short Stories (
Future Sound of London - Lifeforms
Jean Michel Jarre - Revolution (although released in the 80s I'd only discovered him in the early 90s)
Autechre - Incunabula
Daft Punk - Homework
Orbital - In Sides
All have made a huge impact on my current taste.
*High five to granddaddy Steward for FSOL!*

just 90's? and are we putting these up directly against MHTRTC or anything in the BoC catalog? the question's a tad vague.
I made a recent list of best albums of all time (very quick mind you) and this is what made it above Geogaddi (that was before MHTRTC) from the 90's
Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
Stereolab - Dots & Loops
GZA - Liquid Swords
Beck - Odelay
Guided By Voices - Bee Thousand (1994)
Beck - Mellow Gold (1994)

Loads, to be honest. I'm a similar age to Hexagon Son (I'm 33), so the 90s really were my formative era in terms of discovering music (and how that then fitted in with my own identity). A few off the top of my head:
Sprirtualized - Ladies & Gentlemen...
Primal Scream - Screamadelica
Primal Scream - Vanishing Point
Radiohead - OK Computer
MBV - Loveless
Supergrass - In It For The Money (odd choice? Trust me; it's one of the best albums ever.)
Mercury Rev - Deserter's Songs
The Verve - A Northern Soul (recognise the name
)
I could go on!
I was also going to put Beck's Odelay too, but I really don't think it has stood up very well, oddly enough.

I'm only 26, so my 'formative years' were in the early 2000's, but even then most of what I was obsessed with was 90's electronica (and film music, but that's a bit of a dirty secret
).
My list:
Aphex Twin: SAW 85-92, SAW 2... the list goes on. What can I say? RDJ is the master.
Autechre: Tri Repetae++, Chiastic Slide
Beck: Mutations
FSOL: Lifeforms (2nded!)

Loving some of the albums in this thread. Aesthetics, so glad to see Reload get a mention. I don't know if I could choose between Collection... or some of their Global Communication stuff, 76:14, Pentamerous... Each of them blew me away in their own way and I obsessed about all of them.
Lifeforms for what it made me think about sampling and sound design. Just an absolute refusal to play by the rules as they were at the time.
Autechre, Beck... so much good stuff.
Gotta add, Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion in this too. Obvious reasons.
