HE FREAKIN DUMPED HER BECAUSE OF Her mom pressuring him. Hes a jerk, he always mistreate her and he made her cry! It pisses me off whenever i see them, i spent a WHOLE YEAR trying to get her to like me and i finally ask her out and NOT A DAMN MONTH passes and he has her at his feet just by talking with her. Why is bass such a bastard to record? Everything else is fine, but then the bass track needs a hell of a lot of tinkering to not sound fudged up. Which is annoying because all the notes were right, and I can't see myself recreating it so well.

Grr, you ruddy frequencies (though I'll probably just import it into the laptop and use the more detailed EQ settings there or something and will be fine -- BUT I'D HAVE TO SORT THE USB LEAD OUT AND UUUGH)

^ Gove should be taken out and shot, quite frankly. I was just about to add to this thread with a bit of a tirade about the government after yesterday's announcement about the SAR contract.

I honestly think this lot could be even worse than Thatcher's mob in the 80s - the stripping and selling off of absolutely everything, the ideology-disguised-austerity cuts, the almost gleeful attacks on the weakest members of society (the unemployed, the poor, the disabled, immigrants). Meanwhile lining their own pockets....

Just thinking about what this government are doing makes me genuinely furious.

It's not necessarily just the government that are making it so bad, it's that a lot of people seem to be totally willing for this to go on. People who'd rather let sensationalist corrupt tabloid media do their thinking for them; being critical of human rights legislation simply because it applies also to people they don't like; support for what they're doing to the welfare system because people should "stop scrounging off the government".

The future could be very, very bleak.

^ indeed. When the Daily Fucking Mail are setting the political agenda, things could get very bleak indeed.

Couple that with the sickening self interest of this government (take a look at some of the names which have interests in private healthcare contractors for example, it's eye-opening).

There are some genuinely dark undercurrents simmering just under the surface at the moment.

The closer we get to the election in 2015 I genuinely believe some very nasty thongs will be in full swing, with the support of large sections of the press, or the govt will know they're going to be fucked at the election and we'll see a "sell everything off" free-for-all to line pockets as quickly as possible.
