Dude, philosophy is so freaking cool. To be honest, I'm not a fan of any particular philosophy but I dig Schopy's ontological pessimism and Wittgenstein and post-structuralism and Spinoza and Lao-Tsé and some of the Greeks (more Heraclitus than Plato) and Foucault and also Feyerabend's epistemology and many more that I can't recall at this very moment.
im as well glad that you like videogames and movies.. i guess entheogens are ok they inspire me for my writing stuff but im more interested about the mysticism that surround them

hello.
i think i had an account here ages ago and might have forgotten the log in.
my anticipation of a new release brought me back so i could be frustrated with like minded folk
im an architect who's bounced around quite a bit and am now in beautiful southern california.
im intolerant of lactose, enjoy driving my car, kicking it with my wife, and have slight obsessions with raw concrete and danish furniture.

Robb here,
Lurked for a while but thought i'd finally start chipping in
26 year old guy from Portsmouth in the UK and my interests are rock climbing, camping and hiking.
I've really got into photography in the past couple of years and have been learning my way around a dSLR for the past year, dragged it up various peaks in the lake district and spent hours taking pictures of graffiti covered trains around Europe, i might post some pictures in the photography thread at some point.
I have dabbled in music production most of my life but i wouldn't really call myself a 'producer' just like making jams with my friends so we have something to listen to around the campfire.
I mostly play guitar but also mess around with a midi keyboard and reason 5 and Fl Studio, truth be told i have hundreds of unfinished tracks on my HDD's, i tend to make loops and get stuck haha.
Also collect vinyl, managed to track down a few Boards of Canada records over the past few years which are:
Twoism (repress)
Music Has The Right To Children
The Peel Session
A Beautiful Place Out In The Country
The Campfire Headphase
Trans-Canada Highway
...anyone want to sell me Geogaddi cheap

You can talk about everything here, and there is a great music community, from member of solar bears and solo artist lone, to rising music artist gems.
Also Trolls are very rare here...

I'm a person.
I'd like to reintroduce myself.
I'm David, I make sound collages and lo fi beats. http://metroko.wordpress.com/2013/03/16/music/ last three linkies.
I love BoC, Tricky Disco, Main Attrakionz (but especially their producers ie Friendzone and Clams and Nem270 and Squadda (who also MCs) and Marlee B), Oneohtrix, some Roots, some Aphex, lots of MBV, maybe even more Slowdive, I'm big on St Pepsi and Vektroid's eccojamming, as well as Hantasi's creepy ambient. Shit like that.
You're knocking on the door I closed today
