I'm really loving Hardcore Will Never Die.... at the moment. I'm a really big Mogwai fan & reckon this might be their best album. Probably the most consistent...
I think where Mogwai's concerned, my favourite is either Come On Die Young or Rock Action . I'd personally love them to release another album like the latter, which I just like for how varied it is (there's the more typically Mogwai instrumental stuff, as well as some really nice tracks with vocals, and some good experimentation with electronics and stuff ('2 Rights Make A Wrong' is probably my favourite Mogwai track, esp. the Remote Viewer electronics and banjo part)).

NP: Zelienople - 'Colored'

On ye olde Spotify.

long time BoC fan just joined this forum and i am loving this section of the forum.
This week I've discovered Fieldtriqp, Tape Sounds, Bearhead, Boreal Network and many other
incredible musicians... my mind is blown!

Totally been inspired to dig out the midi keyboard and fire up the DAW. :D

Having a bit of a Modest Mouse binge right now.

Listening to 'The Stars Are Projectors' right now.

Definitely up there as one of my favourite bands ever-ever-ever.

When you remember just how good they are, man, what a sound! Sounds so good on vinyl too.

I'm really late on this one, but I've finally given Fuck Buttons a listen. Pretty good shit.

Their s/t is one of my favorite albums ever. I can confirm that there is no shame in liking the Gorillaz haha.

Just checking them out too. Shame to hear about Trish's death, I really like her vocals.

Might have found a new favourite band
