Time for a cease and desist?

Post by Jonse »

I've just noticed that a website called "Legal Sounds", which as I understand scams people on a regular basis, has added this to their catalog.

Aesthetics?

Ouch. Well found.
That's really disappointing to say the least.

They have my music on there aswell. It's nothing to worry about, really. People are going to steal no matter what.

That's not what bothers me.

OOT 5 is a free album.

What bothers me is the fact that somebody might possibly be suckered into paying money for it (however little it may be).

Noticed this about half a year ago and sent them an email that they don't have permission to make money of this music, but I never heard of them again. Technically the music isn't protected.
Seems like we have to license the next episode to make it more valid. A creative commons license might hold them back...

Surprised you didn't already have the CC licence in place, however that wouldn't stop them.

They've got some of my CC licence stuff, together with my fully copyrighted stuff.
