I really enjoy it! It's my fifth or sixth listen, and I gotta say, the only thing in the way of reaaally appreciate it is the noise-peaking. Otherwise, only good compliments for you! Excellent job!

Thanks guys for the feedback. Hopefully we'll get a studio-quality recording done of it within a month or so.

If you haven't heard of it, one of the current giants of jazz saxophone, Donny McCaslin, did a cover of Alpha and Omega which is pretty cool (could have been better IMO, but I was so pleasantly shocked when I saw he did it):

Also, if you like my band, and you like BoC, there's a strong chance you'll like some of our other tracks. In particular, these are NOT BoC covers but are very strongly influenced by them (plus these ARE studio recordings):

The other guys in my band definitely dig BoC, but are not obsessed fans like I am. If they were, we'd do a full album of BoC covers. That's actually something I'd like to do one day. You see string quartet versions of Radiohead and shit like that, well why not a jazz quartet or quintet BoC compilation? Hope to do it someday. Obviously it would focus more on BoC tracks suited for that interpretation, and would be more about tribute than anything.

I would LOVE to see this if it ever happens. The Turquoise Hexagon Sun cover is BRILLIANT - one of the best things I've heard this year.
