On another note

Do you guys think that the sample in this song at 38-41 seconds is sampling the same thing as in We've Started Up?

Big tune, one of my favourite hip hop records!

Everyone should get a copy of The Infamous by Mobb Deep.

Has anyone mentioned Doggystyle yet?

Still sounds great. Soundtrack to a very enjoyable summer a few years ago...

If anyone is okay with nasally white intellectual hiphop I implore you to check out Doseone's Hemispheres LP. It's kind of mind blowing and he does lyrical acrobatics.

in a similar vein to aesop rock and eyedea.

So who's excited for 808's and Dark Grapes III?
It's Main Attrakionz and other Green OVA associate MC's, all produced by Friendzone (who are incredibly BoC-ish).
I know I am, but I personally thought Kuchibiru Network 3 was a bit overlong, and could have done without any rapping, less digital-pad type tracks, and more eccojam/samplejam type tracks.
You're knocking on the door I closed today

Really need to re-listen to cLOUDDEAD, soon. Really fascinating music; especially the self-titled release.

They've definitely grown on me, but yeah sometimes they're a tad distracting. I do enjoy Doseone's work though so I'm used to his weird ass voice.

Which reminds me, Odd Nosdam's stuff is the shit! Check this song out- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xxoA8jgIW8

His newest album is incredible instrumental hiphop
