Definitely agree. That's one of the tracks that I thought was a real progression for them -- there's sounds of Loveless in there, for sure, but I think there's also a sort of Twin Peaks vibe that MBV had never used before.

I agree man, that and In Another Way sounds very much like new ground. The guitar sounds and arrangement seem to melt into one another, such an interesting sound. Bilindas vocals on If I Am are so lovely. My only gripe with the album is they didnt have more of the Lost In Translation style stuff on there, but thats just Kevin and not the band I guess.

One thing for sure, the album is meant to be played on vinyl, it sounds so rich and textured.

I was kind of hoping for more Lost in Translation stuff, too. Just love the atmosphere of that stuff; maybe that's the sort of thing they'll be looking at on this supposedly upcoming new EP.

Their EPs are all awesome, so I am hoping for something particularly special. Something like Tremolo EP on acid.

Been binging Jeff a lot recently, he was so fluid on the guitar. A truly great talent.

BoC - You Could Feel the Sky

All these mysterious goings-on have made me dig out Geogaddi again. As ever, I'm hearing things in this track I've never noticed before.

BoC really are like MBV - so many have tried to emulate them yet no-one has come close...
