Except that I don't see some fan just having the extra money lying around to go and have 6 (or even just the ONE would've been expensive as HELL) records pressed and IDK IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE...
Who says anyone's had a record pressed? There was a post on 4chan pointing out that in the video of the vinyl record playing, there is some sort of LED indicator on that model of record player that should have been lighting up but wasn't. I have no idea if that's true or not but it's not been proven or disproven beyond a reasonable doubt that the audio we heard was coming from the record we saw on the turntable and if it was, whether that audio was anything to do with BOC or just some random snippet that sounds vaguely like them.
All we've seen is a picture of a sleeve and a vinyl record - it would cost peanuts to have a makeshift BoC logo printed onto some cardboard and then fashioned into a vinyl sleeve and all the little codes (e.g. the hex code for turqoise) are not mysterious in the slightest if it's done by anyone with the slightest knowledge of the band.
Again, I'm not trying to say it's definitely a fake - I'm just saying that thus far we haven't seen a scrap of proof that we can say beyond a reasonable doubt couldn't have been produced unless it was someone connected to the band.
i would put money on that being a genuine account, original video that was used in the art from geogaddi. how else would someone random get that video?
i can understand with all the years of speculation and false flags (WINK) that a lot of people need more than some speculation BUT... this would have been refuted i am sure already. its 17:55 here in the uk. warp/boc would have seen it all by now and yet .... *silence*

Ah it's actually not that hard to do, Hack a day is full of projects to DIY vinyls and the likes, it's elaborate, but it's not as far out as people think.

My point is, why would someone spend that amount of money just to have a bunch of strangers on the internet shit themselves? I mean it just seems like a lot to give to only get a small amount of satisfaction seeing a few hundred people squirm on the interwebs. That is, if that's even what's happening here. Let's hope not.

Remember the fake hawk snatching a kid video? it went viral too, those students got Straight A's for their project. So this might be along the way, or just some people with too much time on their hands for bragging rights. Never underestimate the ingenuity of people to pull pranks
Look at the guy in the reflection. He's holding a camera to film the video in one hand. he's holding something else in the other. Recorder? Audio player?
edit: on the mixer, it appears that the cross fader is all the way left but the volume for the turntable on the left is at 0. Am I seeing that correctly?
so allow me to make a summery of what i think.
these records are out there, if combined you get a date in code (since we know the year is 2013 you can use that to decode it) which is probably the release date
this vid sorta kinda confirms it, possibly a countdown to the album release
sound about right?
also i'm so hoping for another release party like geogaddi, were they hard to get into last time?

it was said that the string of six by six referred as
------/------/------/------/------/------
appeared in the video at position 4:20 (april 20)
Today it seems to appear at 4:19
If tomorrow it shifts again to 4:18 I reckon that we would have a countdown
4 months and 19 days from today. (would mean: Sept. 9 2013, a Monday.)
Feel free to flame, just pure fun speculation bored to hell on a Sunday in Quebec where spring just refuses to even approach, bastid!
This countdown idea is fishy... In fact, I think that whole video reeks of some troll just playing with our heads. Anybody can change the description, add this box with XXXXXX on it, etc...
Btw, here in Montreal it's getting warmer, so don't lose hope, fellow Quebecer! Even if there are slim chances I'll find one of those records, I'm still going for it today. Shhhhhh, I chasing the wabbits!

I want to believe this is real.
We're looking at the player upside down in the video. So everything seems backwards. The correct faders are in the right place for that vinyl to be playing. Nice almost-catch, though! Scared me for a minute that we would all miss something so simple.

I find it suspicious that lilcakey over at reddit (the guy who allegedly owns the only record found so far) hasn't said anything for 12hrs. Sure maybe he has a job or something, but if he's really a BoC fan he knows this is big.
