Are you from Victoria? I live just up the street from Ditch, but I haven't checked yet -- I work on Saturdays so I missed Record Store Day entirely. :/
Yes. I called, and they didn't know anything about it, beyond a few of the old LP's (MHTRTC) they had in stock for RSD. I'm tickled someone else in this town actually has a clue.

There is talk on twitter of organizing a BoC vinyl listening party when the album comes out. I have MHTRTC, and a friend has the TCH EP. Relevant to your interests?

Down. I've got their entire vinyl discog, so that's covered. I'd be plussed to find other people here who are into this. Let me know if you guys are for serious. Just posting to say that if anyone boasts of a BoC listening party in a place like this and it never comes to fruition, their gravestone will read "Infamous Dick."

It's what they said. Used ones, apparently sold for $100+. The old owner of the store was a prolific Canadian IDM geek and it wouldn't have surprised me.

Ditch records are very good for this kind of stuff. They'll bring in obscure stuff if you ask and they've usually heard of everything I want. They're probably one of the best record stores I've ever been to.

As for this listening party, I think if you can promise to bring Geogaddi on vinyl you're in.

We should have a victoria Twoism meetup at Garricks Head or something. Or Smiths before it gets dark and busy. I went in there one afternoon to kill time and they were playing Julie and Candy. It was weird.

Stockholm Boc record Hunt results:
Snickars Records - nope
Pet Sounds Records - nope
Bengans - nope
Fade Records - very weird actually. The owner is the warp-guy here in Sweden and told me he got info 4 weeks in advance that this would go down. He then asked me to leave and was very suspicious. When I pushed for an answer if he had the record he told me that he would never sell something like that to someone who isn't a regular at his store. I then asked him if he had sold it already and he said: "maybe", with a smile. He could just be fucking with me, of course, but he then more or less told me to stop asking questions because he wasn't at liberty to talk about it.

They're not all bad though. This guy however was exceptionally rude. And probably a lying sob. But what if he isn't though? Then I'm gonna have to kill him and steal his record.
