That's actually a really comforting and realistic thought. I have nothing new or insightful to add apart from that i'm properly excited about all this and i'm in no way afraid to admit it. Love the code and the trickery, maybe they are playing up to the "mysterious" stereotype deliberately but i couldn't care less, more than happy to play along.
We had a dream last night. We had the same dream.

Pretty much this. I can't wait to see what comes next. I think we need to enlist Sherlock to figure out these clues23degreesdream wrote:I have nothing new or insightful to add apart from that i'm properly excited about all this and i'm in no way afraid to admit it. this, oh god, now I'm even more excited about what's yet to come. we might get more out of this than the release date.Herzog wrote:Joyrex @ watmm now confirmed that it's legit...
"and just the beginning"..
Imagine this whole thing leading to a download of Acid Memories and the release date for a new LP so we'll have something to listen to while waiting for whatever-it-will-be-called.

Hype hype hype!
But it does not tell is it old or new material. The style, as said elsewhere, points to earlier works BUT I am very pleased of course if the supposed release contains this kind of material. Cant wait to hear more!

Honestly, at this point, it could be the Sandisons farting into kazoos for 90 minutes and I'd still be excited. But it does not tell is it old or new material. Well he seems to have quite a long reputation and he is a respected and early member or WATMM..and supposedly know people from the music "circles". Of course everything is exaggerated in the internetz but well I think he would not be trolling so "honestly" considering the situation and anger it would raise if those "confirmations" would be false.sevenELIXIR wrote:what is joyrex's credibility?
Joyrex has undeniable deep roots in the community and contacts within Warp, including individual artists and representatives of the band. He ran the official fan video contest for the Geogaddi release, in which the winners were picked by Mike and Marcus themselves.Saakki wrote:Well he seems to have quite a long reputation and he is a respected and early member or WATMM..and supposedly know people from the music "circles". That said, he has chosen to participate in hoaxes in the past. Though in this instance, I believe him.

Every man and his dog seems to be going bat shit crazy over the new daft punk album coming out. The possibility of new BoC has really put into perspective how much i don't give a fuck about new Daft Punk.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST HE'S CREASED ONE OF THE CORNERS ALREADY. I would have that shit in a sanitized glass box on a plinth surrounded by laser beams and a release the hounds button. Gloves must be worn at all times whilst touching it. In fact no, no touching allowed whatsoever. HOLY SHIT WHAT IF THIS GUY SCRATCHES THE VINYL.
The of Boards of Canada troubles me also. Hopefully it is not the last production for them. The dude looks like some swaggy hip-pop dude with his snapback etc (although he likes good music considering his last fm picks). Hopefully he realizes the value of that item /artifact.revertedhexagon wrote:So any speculation about dat album? The feel? Album artwork? The end of Boards of Canada?

If it is the end of Boards of Canada, at least they will have left their fans with a great catalog. Quantity does not equal quality.Saakki wrote:The of Boards of Canada troubles me also.
