I just have this gut feeling...

The Sandisons have a cult, and right now they are in the woods somewhere with their friends and they are planning something. They have knowledge that is further than any of ours, its just bizarre and I love it and I have no more words, i don't even know what I'm saying right now I have to take a shower.

Someone on WATMM posted these coords from Google Maps with the numbers we got so far:

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=55.774 ... -0.95&z=14

I'm just wondering, am I alone in thinking this looks like the area where the cover for Acid Memories was taken? I can be way off, but it does look somewhat similar...

If this ends with a bunch of eunuchs in Nikes being found dead in bunk beds, I'm going to be really upset.

I think I'm going to vomit. (not out of disgust, but out of not knowing what else to do but curl up in a ball on the bathroom floor and vomit.)

I think I will take a nice stroll whilst the sun is setting and listen to Kid For Today. Ease up people!

And yes I can see trees and field on that picture!

Okay, Okay, Okay.

Okay.

I am calm and collected. I have a Digital Audio class in an hour. I'm going to go chain smoke, smoke a bowl, walk around in the sunshine, and listen to BoC's discography. Good day people.

Yeah ... I was wondering where these numbers came from.
Where did you get these coordinates?

Just got back from a short vacation, what the fuck is all this shit?? BoC's version of charlie and the chocolate factory Golden Tickets? Does the finder of the Vinyl get to go to their bunker and get to hear the new album? And if this record is 40 seconds long, why is this youtube clip like 8 seconds? Why didn't the person post it all?

The youtube clip has 40 seconds of audio from the record. Listen closely; the beginning and end are very quiet, sort of warbly flute-ish sounds, kind of like on the end of Kaini Industries.

Techboy wrote:At watmm somebody pointed out grid reference NS936557 is "right by the pentlands" and is a "beautiful place out in the country". i'm not going to discourage anyone from visiting lanarkshire by any means, but it's actually a shithole. only way to get there without driving is via lanark SPT station. anyway, doubt it has anything to do with it.

edit: also would not consider it to be anywhere near the pentlands as the scale of scotland goes.
anyway, its cool because its really close to where my girlfriend lives. :P

Marketing genius whoever thought of this Willy Wonka crap.

I just compared the two and the trees aren't very similar (they would still stand there if the photograph was taken around 1980~), so I don't think this is it. would be cool though!

Poor Other Music staff have been inundated since yesterday ;) The Twitter confirmation backing up KRS's conversation..

"Yes, we received 1 copy of a mysterious Boards of Canada 12" from @WarpRecords & put it out for sale on RSD. That's all we know, thanks!"

join the club. i still dont really know whats going on. Good luck reading all these posts can someone make an actively updated neat thread with news? im talking documentairies, photos, birthcertifivates i want this case turned inside out.
OK, so I just read the whole thread, more or less. This is so cool! What a cool way to get things flowing for a new BoC release! And yeah, a summary would be cool, but I'm certainly not the man for the job.

I'm sure I'll be on here for the next while to watch and see what unfolds. Exciting times for BoC fans.
For sure, dudes. I've read everything (18 pages now wooooooah) and it looks like something spooky is up. My fingers are crossed, if that counts for anything. 8)

I'm guessing this type of shit will emerge non stop. i seriously doubt it would be found at an fnac

"Just found a 12" by Boards Of Canada at FNAC Madrid, Spain. Number is 4 7 5 6 2 6. We´ll upload the photo ASAP. It´s true!"
